A client of mine converted the same set of disks (admittedly poor) from concat volumes sitting underneath UFS to the same disks presented with ZFS. (Database) performance dropped through the floor, resulting in reverting to UFS. Not much more to add - they didn't do a lot of benchmarking - they just panic'd and went back to UFS.
