I'm doing the former. I agree - not elegant, but effective. :)

Ah, no, but that might also explain why I'm seeing the "not applied" tags. Might need to be using a catalog for that. I'll look at that.

I'm not really a DBA, but I've been saddled with lots of Oracle replication stuff, in case some of my answers seem somewhat clueless... On the plus side, all the testing I've done shows that the databases this process creates are functional and intact.

Thanks for the help! I'll try not to flood the list with too much noise.
