I have been test ORACLE 10gr2 and 9ir2 on Redhat AS 5.  I found 10Gr2 installation very smoothly, but 9ir2 even can NOT pass ORACLE and redhat compatible RPM. I also see a document from ORACLE metalink:

RHEL5 x86:

9.2.0 - Not certified, not supported, not planned.
10.1.0 - Not certified, not supported, not planned.
10.2.0 - Note 419646.1 Requirements For Installing
Oracle 10gR2 On RHEL 5 (x86)
11.1.0 - Note 438765.1 Requirements for Installing Oracle 11gR1 32bit RDBMS on RHEL 5

anyone really make 9ir2 install on Redhat AS 5 and willing to share experience?

Thanks.
