Interesting.

I never use oraenv, so I tried it.

Not only will it not change to +ASM, it doesn't work at all for me, regardless
of which database I try to set as Oracle Home.

This is with the 10.2.0.3 oraenv.

I normally use either koraenv ( oraenv modified for korn shell) or Andy Rivenes' orasetup.

Either of these change to ASM+ without a problem.
