Hi Chris,

It should something along these lines...

1> Create notification methods for email and for paging. 2> Create notification rules which specify targets, metrics and severity states and the notification method to use when an alert occurs. Eg:

NR_PAGE_DB_ALERTS
NR_PAGE_HOST_ALERTS
NR_MAIL_DB_ALERTS
NR_MAIL_HOST_ALERTS

Etc..

3> for the emails you can subscribe to the mail notification rules. Paging occurs probably automatic as all is defined in the specific paging notification rules and method

We've set up 2 groups, production and test/dev in our Grid deployment, version 10.2.0.3. Can anyone tell me how to set up different notifications for each group of targets? We'd like to keep it simple, one email for production that pages us, another email for test/dev that simply emails.

Thanks- Chris
