OK. Here is what I have so far..

I have increased the pga_target_area to 2.5G and it looks like when the index build starts this is not enough and I can't add more right now because the server's memory is exhausted. I have considered rebuilding my temp
tablespace. Right now the uniform size in that tablespace is 1M and I think it is too small. I will also try to reduce the parallelism on some of the tables/indices.

Does this sound reasonable or would it be better to get rid of pga and increase the sort_area bitmap_area etc?
