I wonder if your devices are mapping the same across nodes. Just a hunch. Device names must match if you are using RAW devices. If you are really on 10g you should be using ASM. That will make life a whole lot easier. Take an afternoon and get familiar with it. It is not hard to learn and it is the way of the future.

all,

does anyone have an experience regarding add nodes in RAC environment and about controlfile wrong?

solaris 5.9
oracle 10.2.0.3

3rd node was added, and try to mount database:

ORA-00203: using the wrong control files ORA-00202: control file: '/dev/rdsk/c2t0d59s6'
