Duties include Database & Applications Installation, Maintenance, Migration, Security, Disaster Recovery, Cloning, Backup and Recovery, Performance Tuning, Capacity and Space Management, Problem Resolution, Hardware/Infrastructure expertise, System Documentation, and System management and Support.

Required Industry skills, experience, and qualifications:
* 4+ years as an Oracle Applications DBA (w/11.5.10 experience)

Position 2:
Oracle DBA Cleveland Ohio
Salary range: 75-90K.
Reclcoation assistance is provided.

Member of the Systems Architecture Team as a Database Administrator. Knowledgeable in both Oracle and SQL SERVER. Support the existing Oracle and SQL SERVER database environment. Monitor and test backups. Apply Oracle patchsets and quarterly security patches. Migrate database objects from development environment to quality environment and finally into the production environment. Troubleshoot database performance problems. Assist development staff in tuning queries and writing PL/SQL. Assist in the analysis and design of database objects.

Requirements:
Four-year college degree required in computer science or information systems. Advance degree preferred.
Five years experience as an Oracle Database Administrator in a Unix/Linux environment.
Experience in Oracle database administration in a complex environment. Solid Oracle background on UNIX platforms. Oracle 8i, 9i, and 10g on HP-UX preferred.
Oracle RMAN experience.
Oracle upgrading and patching experiencing. Oracle Enterprise Manager experience.
Tuning, Statspack, Tkprof, Oracle Spatial and Trace Analyzer experience. PL/SQL experience.
Legato Networker experience.
Veritas Clustering Services experience.
Shell scripting and Perl experience.
Oracle Spatial
Oracle Streams and Advanced replication a plus. Linux experience a plus.
SQLServer 2000 and/or 2005 experience a plus. RDBMS analysis and design experience.
Disaster recovery experience.
Participate in off-hours (night and weekend) tasks and projects and be willing to act in a 24x7 database support role. Participate in administration of change control process and assist in expanding/automating the change control process. Must be self-sufficient self-starter willing to troubleshoot various database/system/architecture problems.
Must be able to communicate effectively to varying technical and non-technical audiences.
Must be willing to learn and support the implementation and architecture of 3rd party products.
Oracle certifications are highly desired.
