Salary: Up to 110K and excellent benefits and a great technical training program.

Location: Oak Brook, IL ( there is no relocation assistance available)

The firm has nearly 400 in its IT staff when corporate and remote facilities are combined. They have one of the largest data networks in the country and they have grown aggressively over the last five years, which is expected to continue. This growth will continue to drive new career opportunities at all levels of the organization.

This is a large, multi-server database environment. They will be working alongside other Oracle application DBAs. They have lots of exciting technology and they have purchased nearly all of the major Oracle tools available, in addition to being a beta-release Oracle partner. They are also at the start of a major Cognos driven business intelligence implementation.

Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent. Minimum of 5 years experience in database administration or development, with a minimum of 3 years of Oracle DBA experience. Experience in Oracle 11i Applications (ERP, CRM, etc.) Experience in Oracle Portal environment a plus. Experience with Oracle Discoverer.
Experience with OID and LDAP. Active Director integration experience a plus. Proven track record in managing and tuning large volume Oracle databases. Experience in UNIX environment required SUN SOLARIS preferred. Excellent communications skills.
Experience with backup, recovery, and disaster recovery process/scenarios.

Drug screen and background check will be required.
