I'm currently reading Craig Shallahamer's book and I rate it as "excellent"; practical, yet based on both solid math foundations and real experience - and very well written as well, with a lot of examples to make the reader familiarize quickly with the material.

Thanks to Chris (Antognini) that recommended this book to me and others.
