When you have run the query, click the icon in the top left of the results grid. It looks like a blue 'database' and an arrow pointing to a sheet of paper. (Sort of). That is the 'export grid' button.

On the dialogue that comes up, choose 'Excel file' for the format. Give the file a name and choose the other options you wish. Click OK.

JOb Done.
