Are there multiple oracle homes on the servers?

Subject: Mass Database Upgrade

Hi All,

One of customer is upgrading their databases from 9i to 10gR2, because the number of databases are more than 100 thats the reason customer is looking for automatic
script to collect all pre-requisit information like pre-requisit for installing oracle 10gR2 software as well as upgrading the 9i database to oracle 10gR2.

Has anyone developed such scripts in past, which i can use as template (if modification required)?

Customer would deploy the script using Software Provisioning System on all boxes.

I know that Oracle does provide a pre-upgrade informaiton tool, which proivde the inforamtion related to databse upgrade only, where as we are looking to bundle
everything in one script.

OS ranges from solaris 5.6 to 5.9.
Most of the single databases are configured with Sun Oracle HA agent. Is there any extra steps to upgrade database configured with SUn Oracle HA agent?
Any comments or suggestions would be really appreciated?

Thanks & Regards
-Harish Kalra
