How to ask questions

As an aid to many folks that rely on this forum for help with Oracle, I thought the following URL might be useful:

There are a number of "questions" appearing here that provide very limited information as to what is happenning (or not happening), platform information, what led up to the problem, etc.

Reading the article cited previously will cause more people to take a look at your problem. Currently a lot of knowledgeable folks just skip over any items that do not provide any info, and/or are vague.

Here's a recent example of a post that provides good information about the question being asked:

If you feel that requires too much effort, don't be surprised by the lack of response.
