I'm not sure about how to get it with a report or query, but another option would be to run RESTORE . . . VALIDATE. That also scans the required backups to make sure they aren't missing, corrupt, etc.

I *know* there is an RMAN report or a SQL query that can be run to show exactly which files will be needed to do a database restore.
