we are using srdf to manage our failover site . the reason we went to srdf was the fact that management didnt want to tie into oracle software and we wanted the whole cabinet replicated. this includes the app server data and the database server filesystem(db and non db stuff).

Has anyone used SRDF instead of dataguard to manage a failover site? Anyone have any opinions of it?
