I was sure of the answer before I wrote. But, before I go and change the code and then have something happen I always like to get a second or third opinion. Something about screwing with my backups that I like to be validated on.

Of course you don't. Temporary tablespace blocks are not protected by redo. Sometimes, they are protected by undo. If that wasn't the case, global temporary tables would break the transaction rules. Of course, undo blocks are protected by redo. Things are simple, aren't they?
