No reason not to set autoextend on temp and undo - just make sure you have a reasonable maxsize along with it - as you should have with ALL autoextend tablespaces.

I agree. I was also thinking that UNDO would be analogous to TEMP.

MSHA   I don't see the big downside of having autoextend on (except for temp tablespaces - those things can become a monster with a bad piece of code).
