Oracle Consultant Needed in Austin Texas

I am posting this on behalf of Mark Gardner with Fugro Consultants Inc. in Austin Texas. Please direct all replies to MGardner_at_fugro.com.

Mark is looking for an Oracle DBA to come in as a consultant to help them maintain a couple of Oracle 9.2 Enterprise Edition database instances with a total of about 10 users. This consultant must be located in or near Austin Texas.

They did have the services of a full time DBA who left about a year ago and has not been replaced. There are many processes which are automated, but the processes are not fully understood by those who currently maintain the database.

Mark needs someone to come in and make sure that the RMAN backups are working correctly as well as generally be available to assist in managing the databases.
