And this and similar questions can be answered authoritatively by version by looking at
http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/database/oracle10g/pdf/twp_general_10gdb_product_family.pdf- note that there is a similar paper for 9i, and there are some, minor, differences. Usually the feature set that you get with SE expands if anyting (and occasionally as with function based indexes it expands in a patchset) but obviously this can't be relied upon to hold forever.
