Bernard,

> Never heard of RACman ?

No. Google shows RACman as an alias for a regular poster at CDOS. tahiti.oracle.com yields no hits. Neither does metalink. Can RACman reduce the amount of redo in a way that two instances produce less redo than one instance?

I'm curious and willing to learn.

Regards, Carel-Jan
