Yay! Glad it helped. Those tools figured out that our 9i client issues were due to an 8.0 dll stuck in the System32 directory.

For AIX, perhaps fun tools like topas, nmon, and strace could help. At least they're all installed on the AIX LPARs I get to play with... :)

Thanks for the link, Rich. The utilities will come in handy.

The problem with the cpu usage has been determined to be associated certain metrics. Once they were turned off the cpu usage returned to normal. Now we are seeing something similar on our AIX servers.
