Ann,

Robert Freeman, the highly esteemed author of a couple of RMAN books has a book out. Here is the Amazon link:
http://www.amazon.com/Oracle-Grid-Tuning-Solid-state-Focus/dp/0976157357/sr=8-1/qid=1165935725/ref=sr_1_1/102-1014853-6371361?ie=UTF8&s=books Someone on this list mentioned that Julian Dyke was a great speaker. Here is the link to his book:
http://www.amazon.com/Pro-Oracle-Database-Linux-Administration/dp/1590595246/sr=11-1/qid=1165935850/ref=sr_11_1/102-1014853-6371361 Sorry about the long links.
Perhaps someone on the list has read one or the other and can offer an opinion.
Can you clarify what you mean "whether i should learn 10g DBA and go for 10g RAC"? Dennis Williams
