10.2.0.3 32-bit linux was just released.

We are hitting a number of OLAP bugs in 10.2.0.2 that are supposedly fixed in 10.2.0.3.

10.2.0.3 64-bit linux won't be out for another month or so (so we are told).

We are seriously considering migrating to 32-bit version in the meantime but I don't fully understand the consequences of doing so.

  1. Is is just a matter of installing 32bit and bringing up the database under the 32bit home? ...or do i have to go the export/import route?
  2. Is there any good reason not to do this?

thanks for any help.

i also have an sr open with oracle to figure this stuff out and will be researching this today.

i will post what i find if anyone is interested.

chris
