Oracle on Windows Volume Mount Points

I currently have Oracle 9i running on Windows clusters using Fail Safe. We are building new 10g clusters still using Fail Safe on Windows 2003 (I fought the Linux battle and lost, let's just leave it at that). The system administrators now would like to use Windows volume mount points instead of drive letters for the new clusters. I have been unable to find any documentation or even forum threads that talk about the support of mount points on Windows. Does anyone know of documentation re: Oracle's support of this? Is anyone else using this already that can share any experiences?

Thanks!
