sgslufread: Hard error on read, OS error = 32

Folks:

One of our application DBA encounterd the subjected message while connecting to an Oracle10gR2 database.
She attempted to establish a connection (SQL > connect user_id/passwd_at_IKMT10) from a SQL session from within the DB server.

We are running this database"IKMT10" in OS ver: AIX 5.2 ML 9

Do any of you experienced this issue ? and possible fixes/impact etc.
