My current working theory is to create a "super" fact table that has all of the facts as it makes the bo implementation easy but from a design and from a user standpoint, but I haven't started implementing that yet and will see if I come up with any other solutions and will update the list.

Actually as another DBA working with some of the BO Hell things, if you get an answer, I'd appreciate getting it too. We haven't run into this issue yet, but I can see it will probably hit us soon.
