Hi

My users have a parallel query running since 3 days ago, the query in fact isnt that slow, the processes seems finished but are waiting for PS enqueue (Parallel Slave Sincronization). I tusc the processes and they all showing "sleepping" status, I ran a systemstate dump and process state dump and they all show the PQ coordinator and Slaves are waiting for PS enqueue.

v$session_Wait shows coordinator waits for SQL*Net messages from client and the slaves parallel execution dequeue wait and some send blk messages.

I was wondering who the heck are they waiting for?

Running Oracle 9.2.0.4 on HP-UX 11.11 (not my fault not running 9.2.0.8 at this time of the year.....)

Thanks
