Some Related info:-

Currently an Application Benchmark on RAC is being envisaged with the respective Veritas SFRAC version & gradually in about 6 to 8 months a Large "Production" NON-RAC Database will be moved to RAC using the same Veritas SFRAC version.

Any Links, Docs would help too.

Thanks indeed

Subject: Veritas SFRAC ver 5 or 4.1 with Solaris 10/ Oracle 10.2 .... Which is Advisable ?

Folks

Veritas SFRAC ver 5 versus 4.1 with Solaris 10/ Oracle 10.2 - Which is Advisable considering Robustness, stability, Bugs, new features etc?

Both vers 5 & 4.1 are certified with Solaris 10/ Oracle 10.2

NOTE - Gradually Large Production OLTP Databases will be Moved from NON-RAC to RAC using the respective Veritas Version. Hence Robustness, Safety, uptime are the primary considerations for the selection.

Is Veritas ver 5 also Currently in use at Large Production Sites having 24*7 Uptime?

Thanks indeed
