No did not know about skip tablespace. I'm okay with replicating the system tablespace and these datafiles.

RMAN questions,
Hopefully it's not to dumb.
- Can RMAN do a full backup of just certain datafiles and lay them out on another system?
- If so, can you then do incrementals on those datafiles?
- Lastly if one and two are possible - what if you modify the destination database say update a row that lives in the datafile you are doing increments on, will applying the RMAN incremental datafile file fail?
