Composites bitmap indices

Hi all:

Some years ago I read a document stating that bitmap indices should not be made composite because
of some issues. I don't remember what the issues were and I can't find that document. So does anyone know
any reason not do create a composite bitmap index assuming that that index does indeed have a low
cardinality
