It will be called ora-600 Linux. Don't believe everything you read in the news. To develop Linux distribution, Oracle would need considerable resources which would yield much better return on investment if used on developing RDBMS and financial applications. Large companies like Red Hat or Novell are having problems with Linux distribution and are often criticized for the lack of support. Oracle support has improved considerably during the last two years, do you really think they would ruin it by supporting modems and wireless cards? If Oracle would develop any operating system, it would be Oracle XP.
