RE: Session Timeouts...

Have you tried sql tracing your oracle session and/or networking sniffing (ethereal or tcpdump)the tcp connection? This way you should quickly be able to understand what causes the problem.

Yup....I did. The native Oracle SQL*Plus and SQLDeveloper (Oracle's) dont exhibit this behavior.

Did you check if you are behind a firewall and that is pushing a idle timeout
