I tried several times on HP-UX with Grid Control R1 to no avail. I didn't want to maintain a database at a 9.0.1 version for patch/maintenance reasons so I also tried a default install followed by a database upgrade, but even that approach created problems with the Grid application.

I killed our Grid install and plan to reattempt on Linux with R2 to see if it's improved, but it's pretty far down the priority list at the moment. I give it a test run every now and then just to see if it's worthwhile, but so far, the benefits aren't worth the cost.
