We, Russians, assume that there is a direct correlation between amount of alcohol consumed and software quality. Or put it that way... the number of bugs is inversely proportional to the number of bottles of vodka Russian programmer (or DBA) consumed. However, the is kind of a knee in the quality graph after which quality might somewhat suffer so it's important to know where your knee is! ;-)
