Hi Pete ,

For me , 9.2.0.7 agent worked only with SNMPv1 (on AIX5.2L) . It DIDN'T work with SNMPv2. May be that's true in your case too . Did you try with SNMPv1 ?

Just my $0.02.

Regards | Jp.

Hi,

Has anyone else seen and beat this problem?

Running 9.2.0.7 IA on a version of Solaris 9 (5.9 Generic_118558-14 sun4u sparc SUNW,Sun-Fire-V490) that uses net-snmp.

With snmpd running, when I try to start the IA the snmpd.log shows these errors:

[smux_accept] accepted fd 16 from 10.226.24.16:48317
refused smux peer: oid SNMPv2-SMI::zeroDotZero, password , descr dbsnmp
[smux_accept] accepted fd 16 from 10.226.24.16:48318
