Plenty of tools out there to help. Depending on your background, Migration Workbench is good, as is DTS/SSIS - especially if this will be a regular event. If you're talking stupendously large amounts of data, OWB gets the job done (though it's not "friendly" IMNSHO).

And then test, test, test. Watch for things like datatype conversion, very long varchar data, decide what you'll do with image datatypes if you have them, etc.
