I have stayed away from scripts because utlrp use to work so fast and beautifully. We also hit an issue (bug) with upgrade regarding IN OUT parameters in packages that were declared as PUBLIC_SYNONYM%TYPE, so there must be some changes in regards to how PUBLIC SYNONYMS are handled.
