Snapshot of one schema into another schema

Hello Everyone,

I need to create a schema snapshot into another schema. The snapshot will be refreshed once a month. Keeping all the archivelogs for that month is not an option, the database is too active. What options can you think off ?

This is 10g R2 using ASM.

I am thinking using datapump and network link (loopback dblink) with remap parameter ?

Can someone think of some other,possibly better, way ? Something that will avoid rebuilding the indexes ?
