This brings up a good question that many of us in our shop have been wondering. How does one define "most stable"? Inherently with new features (and new bug fixes), there are bound to be new problems, which decreases stability. It has been our experience that our 8.1.7.4 database has been more "stable" than 9.2.0.6 (we gave up on 9.2.0.7 and the rumored 9.2.0.8).

Subject: Advisable 9.2.0.? Oracle Patch on Solaris 9 ?

Considering Migrating a BIG Production Server from Oracle 8i to 9i

Is 9.2.0."7" (64 Bit) the most advisable/stable patch on Solaris 9?

Thanks Folks
