Not true. Oracle is releasing 9.2.0.8 sometime soon.

Vivek,  

My understanding is that 9.2.0.7 is the terminal 9i release. So if you migrate to 9.2.0.7, you won't need to apply patches later. And if you do have a problem and call Oracle Support you won't get the automatic reply "upgrade to the latest patch".
