I do believe that the answer is no, data transferred between the client and the database after logon is complete is not encrypted without the Advanced Security Option. You would need to scope the line to verify this.

Subject: [Q] data encrypt between client- server?

We have ORACLE 9ir2 database on LINUX system. The database does not have "advance security option" in it. I checked ORACLE document, it mention login password between client-server have encrypt.

Does anyone know after login data transfer between client-server have encrypt or not?

Thanks.
