Hey Jared,

I thought that OID was only included with Oracle for Names resolution (ie. as the direct successor to ONames), but authentication still required an additional purchase. A quick search of the archives seems to agree:

Am I missing a followup message?

I'm going through Oracle's pricing structure now, but that's gonna take awhile... ;)

Rich

	Ruth,

You do not need to license OAS to use OID.

OID is free to use with Oracle licensing.

Search the Oracle-L archives, as this has been
discussed here before, and search oracle.com.

	Jared
