Hi Michal I remember in Thomas Kyte expert oracle database architecture 9i 10g, there are a few points, for example the interlocking, you could need to add a FOR UPDATE to some queries, too frequent connections in code that works on sql server and are usual, are too slow on oracle, etc.
Do a full testing, don't turst every thing is going to work.
