We are a Linux shop, and the v1 install was horrid. Had to shut down everything related to the oracle user, and the repository datafiles were installed under ORACCLE_BASE. I had a feeling there would be trouble based on the 1/2 assed install, and I was right! -----Original Message-----

Am also having a nightmare just installing Grid Control v1 on AIX. v2 is not yet out on this platform.
