Okay, I'll jump in from the non-Linux world:

PORT_STRING

DEC Alpha OSF/1, r1.1-8.1.0

% uname -a
OSF1 V5.1 2650 alpha

Its nice to see DEC is still mentioned after Compaq and HP did their purchases. You think Oracle admits anywhere internally optimizer logic they took from Rdb? :-)
