Please advise me, if any one implemented ASM in server HA environments with VCS,HP Service guard or suncluster w/o RACE.

...as a former Engineer in the Veritas Database Editions Group, I think the best advice I can give you is to ask Veritas (um, Symmantec) if they have a VCS Oracle Agent that knows anything at all about ASM. Any HA (VCS, MC/SG,HACMP,Matrix Server HA, etc) will have to take the responsibility of starting the ASM instance before the real instance ( the one you actually care about).

Honestly, I think the whole thing sounds like a mess. ASM is a collection
of raw partitions. With HA, the failover agent will have to ensure the raw partitions are accessible after the failover (unless you picked up CVM from the Foundation Suite smorgasbord too). If you are using ASM on CVM, then I'd really have to ask "why".
