While I don't doubt that Jonathan is right on this one ( it's pretty hard to find him wrong on anything; I certainly haven't managed ), particularly given the corroborating evidence, I'm sure he won't mind if I repeat what he wrote in my copy when he signed it:

"Just because it's printed doesn't mean it's true"
