Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought HPUX only supported async IO on raw disks, not on file systems.

Here's the configuration: HP-UX Itanium flavor (11.23) with Oracle 9.2.0.5.

Question: is anyone with this configuration using async IO to any or all of their file systems? If so what have been the benefits and pitfalls?
