One of our DBA was wondering if there was a separate patch(8.1.7.4) for Oracle 8i client. But after some research we re-confirmed that patch for this client is also included in server patch(patch# 2376472).

So please ignore this.

We have an Oracle 8.1.7 client installed in Windows and we need to upgrade this client to 8.1.7.4 as an urgent requirement for a project. But we are not able to locate this patch in metalink.

Could somebody help us sending this patch.
