Isn’t Data Transformation Services good for that sort of thing?

Subject: SQL-Server to Oracle 9205

To my esteemed mentors...

I am attempting to create a Cognos (i know, i know...) datastore with sample data. however the oracle 817 export they provide (the only one for all i know) appears to be corrupt. is there a way to import from a SQLServer export file, or should can/should i create a csv export from SQLServer then run a massive import script? what about SQL*Loader? its been quite some time since ive used it, so I cant remember if that is a viable choice or not.

with great respect...

Thanks
